L'Oréal is the high-end brand of the drugstore if you ask me. The somewhat fancier looking packaging gets me every single time and the L'Oréal Brow Artist Genius Kit is no exception. The slim packaging, the tiny, little tweezers and the mirror inside indeed are appealing to say the least.
In the little tin, you get the tiny pair of tweezers - how cute! -, a spoolie and a brush, perfect for on the go or if you just don't really have the energy to go and search for all the tools. The brow kit comes with a wax on one side, which you use first, and a brow powder on the other side, which is a little darker and is the next step in your brow routine.
I must say that - against all expectations - I really do like the wax. It just clings to the little hairs and it makes your own brow hairs stand out that little bit more. It doesn't have a whole lot of color, but just enough to get an even base. Since I'm not the biggest fan of brow gels - ugh, so sticky! - , I'm so happy with the wax, since it holds my brow hairs in place perfectly throughout the day. The brow powder is really nice to, since it has - what looks like - the perfect color for my brows. I really do need a little bit of a darker color with a slight ashy tone to it, and this works perfectly.
Although this is the medium - dark kit, I have to say that the products looks really natural. It looks like my own brows, but just that little more perfect and polished. Hurray!
I'd say: get your booties on and rush of the drugstore. In for the perfect natural brow?
