The Fuss Free Summer Face.

I don't know about you, but I don't like make-up in the summertime. I know it's kind of controversial to say that as a beauty blogger, but you can't really please me with a bag full of make-up to put on in the morning. One problem: now and again I do have to go outside - although I love staying at home and being cosy - and I will put on some make-up. I present to you: my fuss free summer face.

I tend to get a bit oily these days, so a primer is no luxury. The Body Shop is a lovely brand as it is, but if I have to recommend something, it's their Instablur primer. It feels really nice on the skin and makes the foundation go on like a dream. Speaking of foundation, the Rimmel Wake Me Up foundation is my go to foundation this summer. It feels really light on the skin and gives you that summer glow without effort. How does that sound! Under the eyes, I apply a the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer, an old favorite. Cheek-wise I opt for a product that does it all, giving you that summer glow, whilst still defining your face. Only one product for me: the ELF Contourblush & Bronzer in Turks and Caicos. A little highlighter never hurt nobody, so choose your favorite one and slap it on!


Of course I want my brows to stay all day, and for that I've been using my L'Oréal Brow Artist Genius Kit in the color medium - dark. It comes with a wax, so no flying brow hairs for me!

I'm not the biggest fan of powder eyeshadow as it is, let alone I would use it in the summer heat. Eyeliner is the way to go, so I always have my L'Oréal Super Liner Perfect Slim in Intense Black handy, which never disappoints me. I do love a good coat of mascara and for that, I've been using the Rimmel Lash Accelerator Endless mascara.

Time to finish of our make-up with some lipstick! You can never go wrong with a bright color, preferably matt. My favorite? MAC Relentlessly Red, of course.
